introduction

The all important one off.  The first one that people will not read.  If boring the last one people will not read.  So, who am I?  Clearly I am arrogant or I wouldn't be a writer.  After all the only thing more vain than thinking you have something worth writing is to believe that others will read it.   I suppose I am halfway there.

I am a mid 20s sort, part of the lost generation.  Which lost generation?  The one I am so boldly going to define for you and everyone else.  I am a member of the group of western university graduates who, realizing they have learned nothing in university decide they will use their natural gift to make a living.  In Buffet's view on the sperm lottery we are those who hit 4/6 numbers.  We speak English but have no money.  Sad really.  So we move around the world to the unfortunate masses who do not yet speak English and teach them.  Usually poorly and with little effort.  The ones who care quit.  

I am currently living in Japan.  Its shiny.  where am I from?  I'll give you a hint;  if you know how to spell and accept that I do as well (which I don't), you will be able to figure that out.  

I always felt my teachers were either lazy or angry.  I realize now that I was correct.  Frankly the pay is atrocious; more than we deserve but less than I want.  I'll get more into that on another installment of this unread blog.  

Some of the things I plan to write about, though if this follows with everything else I do will not, are politics, economics, the environment, Japan, teaching, pornography, things that aggravate me and anything else I care to write about.
